Through the Guest Scholars Program, the Center for Public Policy Research seeks to engage with academics and researchers across Tulane’s campus and provide a platform for leading scholars in political economy to share their expertise and perspectives on the economic forces shaping contemporary policy discourse.
The Guest Scholars Program explores the economic dimensions of policymaking and governance by bringing together leading scholars to address contemporary issues in political economy.
This initiative invites distinguished scholars from outside Tulane University to visit New Orleans for one to two weeks and collaborate with Tulane faculty on political economy scholarship. This scholarly exchange enriches the intellectual landscape at Tulane University and deepens the understanding of the forces shaping contemporary governance and policymaking.
Proposals are welcome from Tulane faculty whose research provides insights on the impact of public policy on the market environment, including areas such as the environment, the economy, housing, health, and legal and regulatory policy.
