About the Speaker
Jesse Prinz is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. His research interests include the philosophy of psychology, the philosophy of mind, cognitive science, consciousness, moral psychology, and aesthetics. Among his many publications are The Emotional Construction of Morals (Oxford University Press, 2007), Gut Reactions: A Perceptual Theory of Emotion (Oxford University Press, 2004), and Furnishing the Mind: Concepts and Their Perceptual Basis (MIT Press, 2002).
