About the Speaker
Wayne Sumner is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy and University Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. His principal publications include Abortion and Moral Theory (Princeton University Press, 1981), The Moral Foundation of Rights (Oxford University Press, 1987), Welfare, Happiness, and Ethics (1996), and The Hateful and the Obscene: Studies in the Limits of Free Expression (University of Toronto Press, 2004).
