About the Speaker
Monika Betzler is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Berne in Switzerland and a 2012-2013 CEPA Faculty Fellow at the Murphy Institute. Specializing in moral philosophy and theories of reason, Professor Betzler has written two books, most recently Personal Projects as Practical Reasons, edited or co-edited six volumes including Kant’s Ethics of Viture (De Gruyter, 2008), and published over forty academic articles. She has been the recipient of research grants and fellowships from the Swiss National Fund, the Leverhulme Trust, and the Humboldt Foundation.
