About the Speaker
Eric Cavallero is a 2004-2005 Faculty Fellow at the Murphy Institute’s Center for Ethics and Public Affairs and a Fellow at the Harvard University Program in Ethics and Health. Since 2002, Dr. Cavallero has served as Associate Editor of the journal, Metaphilosophy. His recent publications include “Popular Sovereignty and the Law of Peoples” (Legal Theory, 2003) and “An Immigration-Pressure Model of Global Distributive Justice” (Politics, Philosophy and Economics, forthcoming). His current research focuses on global distributive justice and the moral principles by which the immigration policy of a developed society should be assessed.
