About the Speaker
Nantaporn Plurphanswat is a post-doctoral fellow in the Murphy Institute’s Center for Public Policy Research. Nantaporn’s current research interest focuses on the compositions of health economics, sociology, biology, and public health policy. Specifically, she is interested in the effects of social interactions (peers, neighborhoods, and family background), genetic influences, and the interactions between genetic factor and social environment on adolescent substance use and risky sexual behaviors.
