About the Speaker
Niko Koldny, is Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Berkley. His main research interests lie in moral and political philosophy. He is an Associate Editor of Philosophy and Public Affairs and sits on the Advisory Board of Berkley’s Kadish Center for Morality, Law, and Public Affairs. He is the author of several scholarly articles in such journals as The Journal of Philosophy, Philosophy and Public Affairs, and Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society. He co-edited The Possibility of Philosophical Understanding: Essays for Barry Stroud (Oxford, 2011) and Death and the Afterlife (Berkeley Tanner Lectures) (Oxford, 2013).
