About the Speaker

Rebecca Tuvel is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Rhodes College. Professor Tuvel’s research lies at the intersection of feminist philosophy, philosophy of race, and animal ethics. Her recent work has focused on the ethics of changing race. Professor Tuvel received her Ph.D. in philosophy from Vanderbilt University in 2014.
