About the Speaker
Constantine Sandis is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Hertfordshire and 2017-18 CEPA Faculty Fellow. His primary areas of research are in action theory and moral psychology. He is the author of The Things We Do and Why We Do Them (Palgrave Macmillan, 2012) and the editor or co-editor of eight books, including most recently (with Jonathan Dancy) The Philosophy of Action: An Anthology (Wiley-Blackwell, 2015). He has published over 50 scholarly articles and book chapters in a wide variety of venues, including Ratio, Philosophy, and Ethical Theory and Moral Practice. Professor Sandis received his Ph.D. from the University of Reading in 2005.
