About the Speaker

Dr. Cristian Sepulveda was a senior research associate at the International Studies Program at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University. During his time at the ISP, he was involved in a number of projects, and coauthored several policy reports for the governments of Nicaragua, Romania, Peru and Egypt. In addition, he also participated as main or guest lecturer in a variety of training programs on fiscal decentralization, which is his core area of expertise. The focus of his current research is the optimal provision of public goods, the assignment of revenue sources in fiscally decentralized countries, and the optimal tax mix. His research interests also include poverty, microeconomic theory and labor economics.
