Professor Sane will present the result of a study in progress, Regulating Consumer Transactions in India: Do Disclosures Matter? The Case of Life Insurance, and she will discuss recent developments in economic and financial law in India.
About the Speaker
Professor Sane’s research focuses on household finance and regulation of consumer financial transactions. In recent years, she has been involved in a number of official legal reform initiatives in India, including the Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission and the Bankruptcy Law Reform Committee.
