The Murphy Institute is co-sponsoring the Morality in the Marketplace Conference, a one-day conference that will take place on October 10, 2014 at the A.B. Freeman School of Business.
Research in the domain of moral reasoning has broad applications to how organizations operate. Researchers across the fields of behavioral economics, marketing, medicine, philosophy, psychology, and public policy have long given priority to this topic of theoretical underpinnings of moral decision making and their applications to a variety of issues in the marketplace. The goal of this specialized conference is to provide a focused outlet for these interdisciplinary researchers to share their approaches, findings, and exchange in a discussion of their work.
