Due to the change in the university calendar,  Professor Nguyen's seminar on January 21 is canceled.  The Center for Ethics and Public Affairs will work to reschedule Professor Nguyen's seminar for the 2022-2023 academic year. 

C. Thi Nguyen is an Associate Professor at the University of Utah. Professor Nguyen writes about trust, art, games, and communities. He is interested in the ways that our social structures and technologies shape how we think and what we value. Professor Nguyen has published in top-rated journals including Mind, the Journal of Ethics and Social Philosophy, and Philosophical Studies. He is the author of  Games: Agency as Art published by Oxford University Press in 2020.

The Murphy Institute

Established in memory of Charles H. Murphy, Sr. (1870-1954), and inspired by the vision of Charles H. Murphy, Jr. (1920-2002), the Murphy Institute exists to help Tulane faculty and students understand economic, moral, and political problems we all face and think about. More important, it exists to help us understand how these problems have come to be so closely interconnected.
