Karl Schafer is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. Professor Schafer's research interests lie primarily in ethics, epistemology, the history of modern philosophy, and Kant.
Professor Schafer co-edited The Sensible and Intelligible Worlds: New Essays on Kant's Metaphysics and Epistemology (2019), published by Oxford University Press. He has also published in top-rated journals such as the Journal of Philosophy, Synthese, and the European Journal of Philosophy.
