Event Description
Nick Riggle is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of San Diego. His research is primarily in aesthetics, moral psychology, and value theory.
Professor Riggle is the author of two books, On Being Awesome: A Unified Theory of How Not to Suck (Penguin Books, 2017) and This Beauty: A Philosophy of Being Alive (Basic Books, 2022). He is also a co-author of Aesthetic Life and Why It Matters (Oxford University Press, 2022). Professor Riggle's new book, Understanding Aesthetic Life: Essays is currently under contract with Oxford University Press. His work has also appeared in top-rated journals, such as The Philosophical Quarterly, Philosophical Review, and the British Journal of Aesthetics.
