Event Description

Micheal McKenna is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Arizona. His research focuses primarily on free will and moral responsibility, as well as the broadly related fields of ethics, metaphysics, action theory, and moral psychology. He is the author of Conversation and Responsibility and co-author of Free Will: A Contemporary Introduction with Derk Pereboom. He has published numerous articles on ethics and responsibility in journals such as Journal of Ethics, Philosophical Studies, Journal of Moral Philosophy, and Philosophy and Phenomenological Research. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia and currently teaches philosophy at the University of Arizona.
