The Murphy Institute's Gary Hoover Featured at the 2025 Tulane Future of Energy Forum
The Murphy Institute is excited to announce that Dr. Gary "Hoov" Hoover, Executive Director of The Murphy Institute and Professor of Economics, will be a featured speaker at the 2025 Tulane Future of Energy Forum: Powering the Future: Innovation, Competition, and Collaboration.
The forum, with its theme "Powering the Future: Innovation, Competition, and Collaboration," convenes leading voices from business, government, academia, and non-profits to explore the rapidly evolving global energy landscape. Hoov's participation reflects The Murphy Institute's commitment to engaging with critical interdisciplinary issues that shape economic, moral, and political problems of the 21st century, including the pivotal challenges and opportunities within the energy sector.
Hoov will moderate an afternoon session titled "Navigating Power: A New Theory of Global Energy Governance" with Tulane University James McCulloch Chair in Energy Law, Frédéric G. Sourgens. The session will be held in Kendall Cram Lecture Hall from 3 to 3:50 p.m.
