About the Speaker
Jacob T. Levy, the Tomlinson Professor of Political Theory and Coordinator of the Research Group on Constitutional Studies at McGill University, holds research interests in multiculturalism, federalism, nationalism, pluralism, and the history of liberal thought. He is the author of two books, The Multiculturalism of Fear (Oxford University Press, 2000) and Rationalism, Pluralism, and Freedom (Oxford University Press, 2014), as well as numerous articles in journals including Political Theory, American Political Science Review, Nomos, and Social Philosophy and Philosophy. Professor Levy earned a Ph.D. from Princeton University and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School.
