Center for Ethics and Public Affairs Faculty Fellowships 2017-2018

The Center for Ethics and Public Affairs at the Murphy Institute at Tulane University invites applications for Visiting Research Professorships/resident Faculty Fellowships for the 2017-2018 academic year. All applications must apply via Interfolio. Application is free of charge for all applicants, whether they already have an Interfolio account or not, as long as the link is used.
These fellowships are available to support outstanding faculty whose teaching and research focus on ethics, political philosophy, political theory, or questions of moral choice in areas such as, but not restricted to, business, government, law, economics, and medicine. While fellows will participate in conferences and seminars organized by the Murphy Institute, they will be expected to devote most of their time to conducting their own research. Faculty Fellows are normally appointed as Visiting Research Professors. As Visiting Research Professors, they receive a salary of 65,000 USD and are eligible for Tulane University health insurance.
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a doctorate or equivalent research degree in philosophy, political theory, or a related discipline at the time of application. Applicants should also have a full-time college or university appointment at the time of application. Full-time faculty at all ranks are invited to apply.
