Biography
Yi Hao is a Postdoctoral Scholar in Finance (appointed 2025) at The Murphy Institute's Center for Public Policy Research and Tulane's A.B. Freeman School of Business. Dr. Hao's research interests cover several topics, including municipal bonds, urban economics, and financial reporting. Her primary focus is on the pricing of municipal bond across various sectors and the broader impact of the municipal bond market on other financial markets. Additionally, her research examines the collaboration between the federal government and municipal bond issuers. She completed her Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance) at the University of Iowa and received her MA in Economics from the University of Manitoba.
