CEPA Faculty Seminar: Dana Nelkin

About The Speaker

Dana Nelkin, Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, San Diego, works in moral psychology, moral philosophy, and the intersection of these fields with law and medicine. Her book Making Sense of Freedom was published by Oxford University Press in 2011, and it has since been the subject of a symposium in Philosophy and Phenomenological Research and of comments with her response in Philosophical Studies. Her work has appeared in Ethics, Noûs, The Philosophical Review, Oxford Studies in Agency and Responsibility, and numerous other prestigious venues. Nelkin received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1995.
