About the Speaker
Martin Edwards joined Tulane Law School in 2017 after practicing employment litigation at Phelps Dunbar LLP in Jackson, Mississippi. Before entering private practice, he served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Leslie Southwick of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the office of the Mississippi Attorney General.
Prof. Edwards is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and Duke University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. Prior to joining Tulane Law School, he taught Administrative Law as an adjunct professor at Mississippi College of Law.
His research has appeared in the Administrative Law Review and the Penn State Law Review.
