More Information

Join the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies for the annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition, celebrating the innovative research conducted by Tulane doctoral students across campus.

Developed by The University of Queensland and held at over 900 universities worldwide, 3MT challenges advanced PhD candidates to cultivate their presentation and communication skills by explaining their dissertations in just three minutes, using a single static slide, to a non-specialist audience.

Come cheer on this year's competitors—including CPPR Dissertation Fellow Yu Liu—as they present their work. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for the People's Choice Award alongside the panel of judges who select the Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize recipient will go on to represent the university at the regional Council of Southern Graduate Schools competition.

All students, faculty, staff, and campus community members are encouraged to attend and support the presenters.
