The Tulane Engineering Forum (TEF), a long-standing regional conference focused on advancements and challenges in science and engineering, will commemorate its 25th year on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. Established in 2000, the forum serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and the fostering of professional connections among engineers and related professionals in the Southeast.
TEF 2025 Program Highlights:
The upcoming forum will feature presentations and discussions led by over 30 industry experts and thought leaders. The program is structured to provide attendees with insights into key areas including:
- Infrastructure development and maintenance
- Current trends and challenges in energy production and distribution
- Technological advancements and applications within the oil and gas sector
- Innovations and research in space exploration and engineering
- Sustainable water management and resource engineering
- Broader topics of engineering innovation, ethical considerations in practice, and leadership development.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a full day of sessions and networking, contributing to their professional development. The forum is accredited for up to 8 Professional Development Hours (PDHs), including one hour dedicated to engineering ethics, which can be applied towards continuing education requirements for many professional licenses.
