Biography

Matt Myers is a Ph.D. candidate in the Philosophy Department at Tulane University. Matt’s primary research interests are in philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE), new diversity theory, and democratic theory. His dissertation title is, “Democracy and Diversity Bonuses in the Public and Private Spheres,” supervised by Chad Van Schoelandt.

In his current work, Matt is exploring the relationship between diverse perspectives and democratic institutions, especially the relationship between diverse perspectives and democratic accountability.
