Tulane Engineering Forum (TEF)

The Tulane Engineering Forum (TEF), a long-standing regional conference focused on advancements and challenges in science and engineering, will commemorate its 25th year on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. Established in 2000, the forum serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and the fostering of professional connections among engineers and related professionals in the Southeast.

Second Annual Future of Energy Forum

Tulane University is proud to invite you to the second annual 2025 Future of Energy Forum at Tulane University, taking place September 10–12, 2025 on our vibrant campus in New Orleans, Louisiana.  

This year's theme — "Powering the Future: Innovation, Competition, and Collaboration" — will spotlight how new technologies, evolving markets, and bold partnerships are shaping the future of energy.

The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University

The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University, a major literary event for the Crescent City, will be held on March 27– 29, 2025, on Tulane’s uptown campus and will showcase over 100+ national, regional and local authors, as well as numerous literary exhibitors. The festival will also feature children’s and family programming sponsored by Scholastic Corporation, the global children’s publishing, education and media company, and the City of New Orleans’ Office of Youth and Families.

Navigating Neutrality: A Shift Away from Position Statements

On Friday, November 8th from 2 - 3pm in Boggs 104, you are invited to join the Tulane University Department of Psychology and the Murphy Institute Center for Ethics for a conversation on: "Navigating Neutrality: A Shift Away from Position Statements."

This event if free and open to members of the Tulane community and anyone interested  participating in the discussion. 

Tulane Future of Energy Forum

As society confronts the challenge of meeting the escalating global demand for energy while moving towards a lower-carbon future, collaboration across sectors is more critical than ever before. The Future of Energy Forum at Tulane University will serve as a connector and catalyst for this collaboration – convening leaders in business, academia, government, and nonprofits from around the world to come together and engage in critical discussions about the future of energy. 

Ballot Battle: Insights into the 2024 Presidential Election

Hosted by the Tulane Journal of Policy & Political Economy, this upcoming event will feature panel discussions with former Economic Advisors for the Trump Administration, Immigration policy experts, and renowned economists & political scientists. Explore the implications of the 2024 election on key issues like immigration, economic policy, and Supreme Court reform. Gain insights from diverse perspectives and engage in a respectful, moderated debate.

Educational and Economic Reforms vs. Reparations with Gary Hoover and Bettina Love

The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University brings the world’s leading authors to the university's uptown campus for a multi-day celebration for book lovers of all ages. Each day of this 3-day literary event features panel discussions, moderated conversations, keynote lectures, family programming and workshops.
