Subramanian Rangan is a Professor of Strategy and Management, and The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court Endowed Chair in Societal Progress at INSEAD. Professor Rangan's current research explores the future of capitalism and in particular how enterprises may better integrate performance and progress.

Professor Rangan's first book, Performance and Progress: Essays on Capitalism, Business, and Society, was published by Oxford University Press, 2015. His second book, Capitalism Beyond Mutuality? Perspectives Integrating Philosophy and Social Science, was also published by Oxford University Press in 2018. Professor Rangan has also published in top-rated journals, such as the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of International Management, and Administrative Science Quarterly.
