Peter Stone

Peter Stone taught Political Science at Stanford University for seven years. He is now Ussher Lecturer in Political Science at Trinity College Dublin. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Rochester in 2000. He works in contemporary political theory, with particular interest in theories of justice, democratic theory, rational choice theory, and the philosophy of social science.

Mikhail Valdman

Mikhail (Mike) Valdman is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Rutgers University under the supervision of Larry Temkin. He works mainly in normative ethics and political philosophy. His current research interests are in autonomy, exploitation, and distributive justice.

Hanoch Sheinman

Hanoch Sheinman taught at Rice University and is currently Professor of Philosophy and Law at Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He writes in normative ethics, philosophy of law, and legal theory (especially constitutional theory and contracts). Sheinman holds doctoral degrees in philosophy (Princeton, 2006) and law (Yale, 2007).

Monika Betzler

Monika Betzler is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Berne in Switzerland. Professor Betzler earned a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School and earned her doctorate from Ludwig Maximilian University in Germany.

Mary Clayton Coleman

Mary Clayton Coleman, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Illinois Wesleyan University, earned her doctorate from Harvard University. Her published and ongoing research is in a wide range of areas including philosophy of action, metaphysics, and applied ethics, and her papers have appeared in such leading journals as the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, American Philosophical Quarterly, and the Journal of Medical Ethics.

Dale Dorsey

Dale Dorsey, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Kansas, earned his doctorate from the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses mainly in ethics, and he has a growing interest in the history of that subject, especially the British Moralists, Hutcheson through Mill.

Gwen Bradford

Gwen Bradford, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Rice University, earned her doctorate from Yale University in 2010. Her work is in ethics and value theory. In 2012-2013, she was a Faculty Fellow at the Rice University Center for Humanities, where she completed work for her soon to be forthcoming book, which develops an analysis of achievements.
