Ulrike Heuer

Ulrike Heuer is Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Leeds. She earned her bachelor’s degree in philosophy, art history, and German literature from the Free University of Berlin in 1983 and her master’s degree in philosophy and German literature from the Free University in 1990. She completed her doctorate in philosophy at the Free University in 1998. She has taught philosophy at Columbia University and at the University of Pennsylvania.

Leif Wenar

Leif Wenar is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sheffield. He earned his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Stanford University in 1987 and his doctorate in philosophy from Harvard University 1997. His interests are in moral, political and legal philosophy. His specialized research has focused on liberal political philosophy, especially the work of John Rawls, and on theories of private property.

Guido Pincione

Guido Pincione is is Professor of Law at the Universidad Torcuato di Tella. He received his J.D. and his doctorate in philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires in 1978 and 1997, respectively.

Professor Pincione has held a number of visiting professorships in North America; he was Distinguished Visiting Professor with the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law and Distinguished Visiting Professor at Arizona State University’s College of Law in 2002, and was the Simon Visiting Scholar at Florida State School of Law in 2003.

Robert B. Talisse

Robert B. Talisse is Associate Professor of Philosphy at Vanderbilt University. He received his B.A. in philosophy from William Patterson University in 1993, his M.A. in philosophy from New York University 1995, and his doctorate in philosophy from City University of New York Graduate School in 2001.

Professor Talisse’s research focuses on democracy, public deliberation, and political justification.

Julian Lamont

Julian Lamont is Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Queensland. He has degrees in philosophy from the University of Queensland and in economics from the University of Melbourne, and completed his Ph.D. at Monash University in 1991. His research interests include political philosophy and economics, metaphysics, business and professional ethics, and bioethics.

Erica Benner

Erica Benner was born in Japan and educated there and in the U.K. In 1985 she received her B.A. in Political Science from Tulane University. She went on to do an M. Phil. (1987) and D.Phil. (1993) in Political Theory and International Relations at Oxford University. She taught at the Institute of Philosophy, Warsaw University from 1993-95, and was University Lecturer at Oxford (1995-97) and at the London School of Economics (1997-2002).

Eric Cavallero

Eric Cavallero is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Southern Connecticut State University. He received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Yale University, has taught at Yale and the University of Arizona, and was a Fellow in the Program in Ethics and Health at Harvard University in 2005-2006.
