CEPA Faculty Seminar: José Medina

José Medina is the Walter Dill Scott Professor of Philosophy at Northwestern University. Professor Medina’s primary research interests include critical race theory, feminist and queer theory, political philosophy, communication theory and social epistemology, and his current projects focus on how social perception and the social imagination contribute to the formation of vulnerabilities to different kinds of violence and oppression.

CEPA Faculty Seminar: Tom Dougherty

Tom Dougherty is a University Lecturer in the Philosophy Faculty at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Trinity Hall and 2018-19 CEPA Faculty Fellow. His research focuses on normative ethics, the ethics of consent, and gender representation in the academy. Professor Dougherty's scholarly articles have appeared in top philosophy journals, such as EthicsPhilosophy and Phenomenological Research, and Philosophy and Public Affairs.

CEPA Faculty Seminar: Michael Huemer

Michael Huemer is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Colorado, Boulder and 2018-19 CEPA Faculty Fellow. His research interests include ethics, metaethics, epistemology, and political philosophy. Professor Huemer is the author or editor of six books, including Ethical Intuitionism (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005), The Problem of Political Authority (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013), and, most recently, Paradox Lost (Palgrave Macmillan, 2018).
