The 2026 Flowerree Symposium, “New Orleans in a Changing Environment: From Lessons Learned to Lasting Resilience,” will bring together leading scientists, engineers, policy thinkers, and cultural scholars to examine New Orleans as a living case study in coastal risk reduction.

The Philosophy, Politics & Economics Society (PPES) will host its 10th Annual Meeting on November 12–14, 2026, at the Westin New Orleans. This three-day conference will bring together hundreds of scholars, researchers, and graduate students from across the globe to engage in interdisciplinary sessions, keynote addresses, and scholarly discussions bridging philosophy, political science, and economics.
